What is the role of the Youth Mark staff?

The Youth Mark staff facilitate the assessment process and support the Assessor's action learning. They ensure that the evidence is recorded properly and that the scoring is based on factual evidence collected and not supposition. They facilitate assessment team discussions and ensure that the agreed schedule is followed.

Youth Mark staff play no direct role in the assessment or decision making processes.

They will liaise with you over practical arrangements including risk assessment and ensure that all assessment materials are available when required.

All Youth Mark staff are qualified professionals with enhanced Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) checks and are experienced in working with young people.
