Forum House Rules
This forum was built for Y-gen customers and guests who want to share their knowledge and ideas in this community. All discussion in this forum should be related to Y-gen services and products only. The following house rules were put together in order for us to have a positive and enjoyable community experience. Moderators will strictly enforce the rules and will be forced to suspend your account or put it in the banned list if you break them. Please keep your contributions civil, tasteful and relevant.

The official language of this forum is English.
-
Treat all users and moderators with the utmost respect. Moderators are here to help us make our stay in this forum pleasant and enjoyable.
-
No personal information. It is not acceptable to publicise your own or anyone else's contact details including address, place of employment, name of educational establishment, telephone or mobile number, email address, etc. This is for your own safety and that of everyone who uses this service.
-
No inappropriate usernames (vulgar, offensive, etc).
-
No impersonating. Impersonating someone (including other members) is unacceptable. Do not post content which you've copied from someone else and don't own the copyright.
-
No direct spamming or blatant advertising. You are not allowed to solicit business through this forum.
-
No multiple postings. Post your question once and put it in the proper forum thread to avoid duplicates.
-
Please be patient. Don't expect a reply to your post immediately. Not all users are available online so try to wait a reasonable time for answers.
-
Always use the subject field when creating a new thread. Use words that describe your post. This will help you in getting constructive answers from other users.
-
Keep your posts relevant. If you don't have something helpful to say on a certain matter, don't post it. Don't just post to increase your numbers. It has no effect at all to your experience as a user.
-
Never go off the original thread topic to avoid getting other members/guests confused.
-
Do not post messages that are unlawful, harassing, defamatory, abusive, threatening, harmful, obscene, profane, sexually orientated or racially offensive.
-
Participants may not link, in any manner, to sites or images containing pornography, sexually explicit, violent or are determined by moderators to be detrimental to the community.
-
If you have grievances or you have something against another user, use the ‘your comments' section to report this to a moderator and give reasons or justifications. Never post your grievances publicly without consulting the forum moderator or administrator.
-
No defamatory comments. A defamatory comment is one that is capable of damaging the reputation of a person or organisation. If successfully sued, you could be held liable for considerable damages and costs.
-
Participants may not bump threads. Bumping refers to posting useless information, making corrections or updates in a new post, posting one-liners or any other action to deliberately keep a thread hot or to bring it to the top of its forum. Moderators will use their discretion, depending on the nature of the post, as to whether to take action or not.
We do not intend to censor messages based on the opinions expressed within posts but we reserve the right to remove, modify or move posts at our discretion and without explanation. Please give credit to our forum moderators. They are here to maintain the orderliness of our community. We reserve the right to ask you to change and/or remove your signature at any time, for any reason.
