Award for Excellence 2012

The Reaching Out project is led by Aidexcel Support Services and it aims to put together an award for 10 outstanding young achievers in Barnet aged 10-19. Our vision is to capture a diverse number of stories to raise awareness of the fantastic contribution young people with disability are making in Barnet.

We are delighted to announce that Award for all has supported the project. We want to ensure we capture a range of stories.

We would like to recognize young people with disability living in Barnet aged 10-19 who excel in the categories below:

  • Community
  • Sport
  • Environment
  • Academics
  • Music
  • Arts
  • Politics
  • Business

Minimum Criteria

  1. Young person with disability nominated must be aged between 10-19 and a Barnet resident
  2. Young person must have agreed to be nominated
  3. Application must demonstrate which category the young person has been nominated for and illustrate their achievement
  4. A young person may nominate themselves

Instructions

Complete the form to nominate a young person or yourself. Please note that you can nominate more than one person but you may only submit one application form per nomination.

Once you have filled in the form, please submit the nomination by email to aidexcel@aol.com  and the deadline for this is 5pm on the 3rd of February, 2012.

Nominations will be judged by a committee including young people and the final people will be announced late February to attend an Award Ceremony Night, in March.
