About Us

Y-gen is based in Crouch End in North London and currently provides:

• information, advice and guidance (IAG) to young people to assist their progression in learning and development;
• personal advisers who offer 1-1 personalised support to help young people overcome barriers to learning, increase confidence and raise achievement levels;
• conducts S139 transition planning on behalf of young people with learning difficulties & disabilities;
• supports schools and colleges in delivering effective IAG programmes through the provision of teaching and learning materials and consultancy services;
• delivers Youth Mark: the youth led quality award for young people's services; and
• provides training, staff development activities and support to other agencies to improve the quality of service delivery to young people.
